To define a worker’s abilities, Natural Abilities Specialist uses the gold standard among assessment tests – the Highlands Ability Battery – Leadership Report. The Battery is an objective test of nineteen separate abilities, each measured by a time-tested worksample. The employee’s results are reported and analyzed in a detailed forty page report.
Natural Abilities Specialist Corporate Programs:
- Team Building ProgramThe objective of this program is to identify a team, to integrate its members into a cohesive unit, to overcome challenges and to identify and manage the “people side” of a team. The Team Building workshops focus on problem-solving, mutual appreciation, leadership, communication styles, risk-taking, decision-making, trust, diversity and conflict management. The Workshops are conducted over a full day involving many exercises. At the end, the members define the team’s goals and create a Team Vision.
- Leadership Retreat – This program is directed towards the leaders in an organization ranging from company boards to management teams. In this process each participant is tested to uncover their personal style, leadership style, communication style, problem solving style, as well as their natural abilities. The objective is to recognize each others unique style, and to reshape the group to work more dynamically, especially when facing change. This process can also identify holes in your current leadership team, and highlight the type of person who is needed to achieve the best team. The program can be done as a stand alone one day event or part of an existing corporate function or executive retreat.
- Executive Placement Report – This report is designed for internal HR and external Executive Recruiters. If you are going to invest over $100,000 a year in an executive you need to make sure they have the right abilities to do the job, and also that they fit your culture. This process involves the testing of the applicant, a detailed 40 page leadership report for the applicant and the company representative, a 1 hour “position specific” phone session with the company representative, and a follow up “position analysis” report. You will discover more about your applicant through this process than all of the resumes, referrals, and interviews combined.

The Highlands Team Building Workshop is a high-powered intensive session built on the Highlands Ability Battery™ and the Personal Vision Factors. The full day workshop focuses on problem-solving, mutual appreciation, leadership, communication styles, risk taking, decision making, trust, diversity and conflict management.
The essence of team building. The business workplace is geared toward working in teams – executive teams, project teams, leadership teams, and strategic planning teams. A team is made up of individuals, each working towards a common goal. Natural Abilities Specialist recognizes the importance of each individual’s contribution to the team.
